Staredown
Staredown

I guess I never told you guys, but I have been down fishing in Valdez for the past 3 days, however I am back now. This shot is pretty simple. . .a seagull staring at me from his perch on a small iceberg. I liked the dark border of water around him. I don't know why, but for some reason the water looks fairly blotchy in the web version of this photo. . .

  • He must be cold. A very nice shot, especially to capture him looking toward you :)

  • Great shot, and I like how casually you mention the small iceberg. Ain't nothin' like that down here in Louisiana.

  • Nice, nice...poor little bird all alone. What a bummer to be an island.

    Great work Max!

  • A temporary respite on a temporary island - love the broken up reflection of the bird.
